At 553 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flood waters were reported in one lane of highway 104 due to the flooding of Norwegion Creek which is north of Brodhead. The creek is expected to rise and cover all of highway 104. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
