At 1100 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Barrett, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Northern Baytown, Liberty, Dayton, Highlands, Channelview, Barrett, Crosby, Mont Belvieu, Old River-Winfree, Kenefick, Cove, San Jacinto State Park, Sheldon, northeastern Houston Ship Channel, and Wallisville.
Bridge Closure on Sunflower Road
