At 147 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northwest of Blanca, or 15 miles east of Alamosa, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Red Wing, Great Sand Dunes, Blanca Peak, and northwestern Spring Burn Scar north of Highway 160.
