Frost Advisory issued May 1 at 12:45PM CDT until May 2 at 8:00AM CDT by NWS Hastings NE

12:45 PM — May 2nd, 4:15 AM

* WHAT...Temperatures as cold as 30 to 36 degrees will likely result in areas of frost. * WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas and east central and south central Nebraska. * WHEN...From 1 AM to 8 AM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Although slightly sub-freezing temperatures down to around 30 degrees are possible in limited parts of the Advisory area, frost is expected to be the primary concern to sensitive vegetation, and not a true, killing freeze. Even so, damage to outdoor irrigation systems and hoses from slightly sub-freezing temperatures cannot be totally ruled out wherever slightly sub-freezing temperatures might occur.
