The areas affected include... Tidal Potomac from Key Bridge to Indian Head MD... At 1059 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of producing winds to around 20 knots. This gust front was located along a line extending from 14 nm northwest of Annapolis to 16 nm northwest of Key Bridge, moving southeast at 20 knots. Locations impacted include... Tidal Basin, Fort Washington, Reagan National Airport, Gunston Hall, Woodrow Wilson Bridge, Key Bridge, Fort Hunt, National Harbor, and Alexandria.
Park Closures Due to Weather Conditions
The Accokeek Creek Boardwalk and National Colonial Farm will be closed today, February 12 due to weather conditions. Farmington Landing will remain open.
