Air Quality Alert issued July 2 at 3:38PM EDT by NWS Gray ME

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services has issued an Air Quality Alert for ozone until 10 PM EDT this evening. A Code Orange Air Quality Alert means that air pollution concentrations within the above mentioned counties may become unhealthy for sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children and older adults; anyone with lung disease such as asthma, emphysema, and bronchitis; and people who are active outdoors. Even healthy individuals may experience mild health effects and should consider limiting strenuous or prolonged outdoor activities.
