About
Graham Harbor Campground is a remote boat-in campground situated on the south shore of Lake Chelan within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. At 1,120 feet elevation, the campground offers five primitive tent sites equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, along with two vault toilets and a shelter. The floating dock can accommodate up to ten boats, making it a popular destination for boaters exploring the upper reaches of Lake Chelan. There is no potable water at this site, so campers must filter or treat water from the lake or bring their own supply. The campground provides good protection from down-lake winds but offers no shelter from up-lake winds. A quarter-mile trail connects Graham Harbor to the adjacent Graham Harbor Creek Campground, allowing campers to explore both areas. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. A Federal Dock Site Boat Permit is required from May 1 through October 31, available as a daily permit for $10 or a season permit for $75. Permits can be purchased at the Chelan Ranger District Office, Forest Headquarters in Wenatchee, or several local vendors including Kelly's Hardware in Chelan and the Lodge at Stehekin.
Directions
From Chelan, travel south on Highway 97A for 3 miles. Turn right onto Southshore Road and go approximately 17 miles to Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park. From the boat launch, travel uplake approximately 12 miles. Graham Harbor Campground is on the south shore.
