About

Hidden Creek Campground is a secluded gem in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests, nestled among groves of old growth cedar trees along the North Fork of the Clearwater River. Located at 3,400 feet elevation in northwest Idaho, this campground offers 13 individual sites and one group tent camping pad for visitors seeking a more remote camping experience. The campground provides excellent access to fishing on the North Fork of the Clearwater River, which flows adjacent to the camping area. Several hiking trails in the vicinity allow campers to explore the surrounding forest. The setting features mature cedars and a peaceful riverside atmosphere that has made it a favorite destination for those wanting to experience the natural beauty of the Idaho backcountry. Campers should note that this is a pack-in, pack-out facility with no garbage services provided. Water is available from a hand pump through September, but campers should bring their own water after that date. The campground operates seasonally and is accessed via Forest Road 250, a remote route requiring careful attention to road conditions.

Directions

From Superior, Montana, head southeast on Diamond Road toward River Street for 5.5 miles. Continue onto Forest Road 250 and drive southwest for approximately 37 miles to the campground.
