The Pattee Canyon Picnic Area is a popular spot for day hikes, mountain biking, horseback riding and picnicking, located four miles southeast of Missoula. It offers several individual- and group-sized picnic sites in a wooded canyon, shaded by ponderosa pine trees. It is open from July 1 - Labor Day, featuring accessible vault toilets, but no drinking water.
