Ponderosa Group Campground is located in the Uinta Mountains of northeastern Utah, offering plentiful hiking, biking and horseback riding trails, as well as fishing in the Lower Provo River. The campground has one group site that can accommodate up to 100 people, with picnic tables and campfire circles, vault toilets and limited access to water and garbage bags. The area is forested and dotted with sagebrush and wildflowers, and provides nearby access to the High Uintas Wilderness.
