Sandy Flat Campground is situated near Lake Isabella, offering visitors the opportunity to participate in activities such as hiking, trout fishing, river wading, and floating. The campground features open sites, river access, drinking water, picnic areas, and vault toilets. The Sequoia National Forest surrounds the area and is known for its giant sequoia trees, canyons, and mountain streams.
Campsites are set along one loop in largely open sites. Large boulders, relics of the ice age, are scattered throughout the campground. River access is in the day camp area. Drinking water, picnic areas and vault toilets are provided.
