About
Boulder Creek Campground offers a peaceful forested retreat along Boulder Creek in the scenic Baker Lake basin of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The campground features 8 single campsites and 1 group site (accommodating up to 25 people), all with gravel back-in driveways. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets are provided, but campers must bring their own drinking water as none is available on-site. The surrounding area offers excellent recreation opportunities. Baker Lake is close by and popular for boating, water skiing, canoeing, fishing, and swimming, with boat ramps at Horseshoe Cove, Swift Creek, and Shannon Creek Campgrounds. The Shadow of the Sentinels Trail, an accessible interpretive path through a 500-year-old ancient forest with asphalt and boardwalk construction, begins just south of the campground. The nearby Baker Lake Trail provides an easy family hike through stands of Douglas fir along the eastern shoreline. On clear days, Mt. Baker dominates the landscape at 10,781 feet elevation. The area supports diverse wildlife including mountain goats, black bears, squirrels, migratory birds, and native fish species.
