* WHAT...South to southwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 50 mph expected. * WHERE...Western Kenai Peninsula along and near Cook Inlet. * WHEN...From 1 AM to 4 PM AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Dipnetters and other recreational activities along Cook Inlet beaches will be impacted by high winds and rough seas, with 8 to 12 foot waves coming off of Cook Inlet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will occur Thursday morning between around 7am and Noon. Cook Inlet beaches, especially from the Kenai River to Nikiski will see the highest wind gusts.
