* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona, including the following areas, Globe/Miami, San Carlos, Southeast Gila County and Tonto Basin. * WHEN...From 11 AM MST this morning through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Deep monsoon moisture in place across Eastern Arizona will lead to storms capable of producing rainfall between 1-2 inches per hour, to locally higher, resulting in an enhanced risk of flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Lower Cliff Dwelling Trail Open 8:00 am to Noon

Summer hours will be in effect Thursday, May 1. The Lower Cliff Dwelling trail will open at 8:00 am and visitors must begin their hike by noon. The Visitor Center will remain open 8:00 am-4:00 pm. The Upper Cliff Dwellings will close for the Season.
