Fordyce Bathhouse Closed Thanksgiving Day
The Fordyce Bathhouse Visitor Center and Museum will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28. Outdoor areas of the park, including trails, springs, and fountains, will remain open to the public from 6:00am to 10:00pm Check local businesses for similar closures.
Hot Springs Mountain Tower Closure
The Hot Springs Mountain Tower will be closed Monday, September 9, and Tuesday, September 10, for parking lot repairs. The Mountain Tower will re-open on Wednesday, September 11, at 11 am.
Temporary Winter Weather Closures
Roads and public facilities in Hot Springs National Park may be closed due to affects from Feb. 18 winter storm. Mountain Roads, scenic by-ways, and public facilities may be closed by public safety personnel. Check local businesses for similar closures.
Change to Fordyce Visitor Center Operational Schedule
Hot Springs National Park Visitor Center located in the Fordyce Bathhouse will be closing Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning March 4, 2025. The updated visitor center hours will be 9a to 5p, Thursday-Monday, until further notice.
Burn Ban in Park
Due to the strong winds and high fire danger, Hot Springs National Park has enacted a BURN BAN, beginning March 19, 2025. Only gas and charcoal grills are currently allowed for use in the campground and picnic areas.
Flood Impacts in Park
Infrastructure in and around Hot Springs National Park may have damage from recent weather events. Park crews are actively assessing roads, buildings, and spring water systems. The park received heavy rainfall through the first week of April.
Temporary Road Closure-Gorge Road
A portion of Gorge Road--from Gulpha Gorge Campground to Sleepy Valley Rd- will be closed daily for regular maintenance. Closures are scheduled from Monday, July 21 to Thursday, July 24. Gulpha Gorge Campground will remain accessible from south.
