For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, heavy freezing spray at a rate of 2 cm per hour or greater occurring, and may rapidly accumulate on vessels. For the Small Craft Advisory, northwest winds 20 to 30 kt and waves 6 to 11 ft expected. * WHERE...Saxon Harbor WI to Black River MI, Black River to Ontonagon MI and Ontonagon to Upper Entrance of Portage Canal MI. * WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ this morning. For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, until 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ Tuesday. * WHAT...Moderate to heavy snowfall rates and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and very difficult to near impossible travel conditions at times. Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Windchills will fall into the -15F to -25F range this morning.

Cold Weather Advisory issued January 19 at 1:44AM EST until January 20 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Marquette MI

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 30 below expected. * WHERE...Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties. * WHEN...Until 9 AM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
