...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON... .Peak monthly high tides, combined with water levels that are running higher than predicted, will likely lead to minor flooding along the shoreline and in low-lying coastal areas. Coastal flooding is possible around the daily peak tide this afternoon. * WHAT...Isolated minor coastal flooding. * WHERE...Vulnerable low-lying coastal roadways, docks, boat ramps and other coastal infrastructure of all islands. * WHEN...Until 9 PM HST this evening. * IMPACTS...Flooding of beaches that are normally dry, minor coastal erosion, and saltwater inundation.

Due to a high volume of traffic, cars may be temporarily turned around at the gate when capacity is reached. Purchasing a pass online does not guarantee entry at sunset. To ensure timely access, arrive 3 hours before sunset.
