DAY USE FEE: $5 per day, per person 13 and older. OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION: Park does not have a gate. The park is open 7 days a week year-round. Office Hours: Sunday - Saturday 8:15am to 4:45pm. RENTAL INFORMATION: Rent a canoe or kayak at the vending machine at the lake. Lake Abilene is a no-wake lake, and boat motors may not exceed idle speed. Review our water safety tips before you head out. POOL INFORMATION: As of August 12th, 2021 the pool is closed for the season. For information about pool rentals for private parties held during regular business hours, please call the park directly. PARK PHONE NUMBER: 325-572-3204Important Information for Daily EntranceDirectionFrom Abilene: Take FM 89 Southwest 16 miles through Buffalo Gap. The park is 5 miles southwest of Buffalo Gap. From Dallas\Ft Worth: Take I 20 West to Abilene. Take Loop 322 to Buffalo Gap exit. Take FM 89 Southwest 16 miles through Buffalo Gap. The park is 5 miles southwest of Buffalo Gap.Booking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation DescNo-shows: If you do not check in at the park by noon of the day after your scheduled arrival date, we will cancel the rest of your reservation. Your entrance fees will be refunded, but all other fees will be forfeited. If you think you will arrive after the noon cutoff, call the park or the Customer Service Center to avoid cancellation.
