DAY USE FEE: $6 per day, per person 13 and older. Entrance fees are in addition to campsite or day use facility fees. Group Adult Entry fee: $1 per day, per person 13 and older, available only with Group Facility rental. OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION: Visitor Center hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm. Government Canyon State Natural Area is open to the general public only Friday-Monday from 7am to 10pm & open additional days for day use and camping around major holidays. Check the Events Calendar on the Government Canyon State Natural Area website for specific dates. Government Canyon State Natural Area Campground open Friday and Saturday nights only. PARK PHONE NUMBER: 210-688-9055Important Information for Daily EntranceDirectionFrom Austin: Take I-35 south to the 1604 Anderson Loop exit # 172. Take a right onto Loop 1604 West toward US 281. Travel west on 1604 and take the Shaenfield Road exit. Take a right and travel north on Shaenfield, crossing FM1560, at which point the name changes to Galm Road. Continue on Galm until arriving at Natural Area entrance. From Seguin: Take I-10 west to the split with US 90. Staying on US 90 West, go all the way to the SH 151 (Stotzer Frwy) exit and take a right. Travel 4.5 miles on SH 151. Take the Loop 1604 exit onto Loop 1604 North. Travel on 1604 North/East and take the Shaenfield exit. Travel north on Shaenfield, crossing FM1560, at which point teh name changes to Galm Road. Continue on Galm until arriving at Natural Area entrance.Booking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation DescNo-shows: If you do not check in at the park by noon of the day after your scheduled arrival date, we will cancel the rest of your reservation. Your entrance fees will be refunded, but all other fees will be forfeited. If you think you will arrive after the noon cutoff, call the park or the Customer Service Center to avoid cancellation.
