DAY USE FEE: $5 per day, per person 13 and older. CHECK IN INFORMATION: Customers with interior campsite reservations can check in at Fort Leaton or Barton Warnock by 4:30pm or Sauceda by 5pm. The Sauceda Ranger Station is located on the Main Park Road, a 27-mile-long dirt road. The Main Park Road is the only way in and out of the interior. Most vehicles can make it to the Sauceda Ranger Station – high clearance (8 in) and a full-size spare tire are recommended. RVs, Motorhomes, and trailers are discouraged. ATVs and UTVs are not allowed. No fuel available in the park. Visitors are not allowed to run generators in the park unless they call and make prior arrangements with the Park Superintendent. The quiet hours are 10pm-7am. Permits are required for all activities and access to Big Bend Ranch State Park. Dogs are only allowed to be 1/4 mile from campsites or designated roads, and only on the Closed Canyon Trail and Hoodoos Trail on FM 170. From Alpine, TX. Take US 67 west to Marfa, then south to Presidio. Take FM 170 East 3 miles to reach Fort Leaton, or East 5 miles to the Casa Piedra Road. From the Casa Piedra Road follow signs 27 miles to the Sauceda Visitor Center. OR From Alpine, TX take FM 118 south to Study Butte. Take FM 170 west to the Barton Warnock Visitor Center.Booking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation DescNo-shows: If you do not check in at the park by noon of the day after your scheduled arrival date, we will cancel the rest of your reservation. Your entrance fees will be refunded, but all other fees will be forfeited. If you think you will arrive after the noon cutoff, call the park or the Customer Service Center to avoid cancellation.
