Communal water hydrants are available throughout the campground. A dump station is accessible for an additional fee. The campground also features a designate boat launch for overnight guests. Firewood and Ice is available for purchase. Organized Group: Group Tenting Areas are able to be reserved by formal organizations, religious assemblies, youth groups, and other organized entities. The Group Tenting Areas feature a restroom bathhouse with a wash sink within walking distance. Picnic tables and fire rings to accommodate the area's capacity are present. A designating swimming area for overnight guests is available when the beach is open for swimming. A playground, volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits are available. Firewood is available for purchase. Yurts: Yurts are round Mongolian-style tents that sit on a deck. The Yurts sit lakeside with water-front access. A yurt sleeps five people. Heat, electricity, and a cooking stove top are available, but no fans. A picnic table and a fire ring with a grill are available outside the yurt. A communal water hydrant is available in the yurt colony. Restroom bathhouses with wash sinks are within walking distance. A designating swimming area for overnight guests is available when the beach is open for swimming. A playground, volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits are available. Firewood and Ice is available for purchase. Cottages: Lakeside with water-front access. A cottage sleeps five people. Heat and electricity are available, but no fans or cooking apparatus. A picnic table and a fire ring with a grill are available outside the cottage. A communal water hydrant is available in the cottage colony. Cabins are comprised of bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen. The kitchen features, cabinets, countertop, stovetop and oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, and a dining room table that accommodates the capacity of the cabin. Also featured outside the cabin are a covered porch, a picnic table, and a fireplace with a grill. Pavilions: Feature picnic tables that seat 80 people. Lighting and electric are provided when reserved. Restrooms are within walking distance. Large charcoal grills are featured at each pavilion. Horseshoe pits are adjacent to each of the pavilions. Disc Golf Courses: The Boulder Woods 18-hole course is perfect for those who want to develop their Disc Golf skills, while the Quaker's Challenge course offers 18 holes of championship-length competition. Both courses are open to the public and are free to play. Historic Gettysburg is approximately 32 miles southwest.Key InfoPermit Conditions: 1. No more than one family unit or five unrelated persons per campsite. Other facilities are limited to the maximum occupancy for the facility (i.e. beds in cabins) for non-family guests. Note: Family Unit-Persons living under one household. 2. Occupant shall include at least one person 18 years of age or older. 3. Noise or conduct which could interfere with the sleep of other persons is prohibited between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. 4. Before vacating the facility/site, occupants shall clean and properly dispose of waste. 5. Visitors are permitted only between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. 6. This permit may not be assigned or transferred. 7. Alcoholic Beverages are prohibited. 8. Failure to abide by Pennsylvania State Park Rules and Regulations. 9. For cabins,/yurts/camping cottages removal of tables, beds or other furnishings from the facility are prohibited. 10. For cabins/yurts/camping cottages, tents, camping trailers and recreation vehicles are not permitted in the area. 11. Pets are only permitted in designated areas. Overnight guest with pets must reserve designated facilities. Violations: Violations of park rules and regulations or violations of a condition of this permit could result in any or all of the following consequences: 1. The permit may be revoked. This would mean that the occupants would be required to vacate the facility immediately. 2. The occupants may be required to leave the park. 3. The occupants may be cited for violations of park rules and regulations, a summary offense. 4. The occupants are responsible for any loss or damages to furnishings, fixtures, equipment, or facilities that occur during or due to their occupancy.Important Information for Daily EntranceDirectionCampground office address: 800 East Camping Area Road, Wellsville, PA 17365. It is reached from Harrisburg via the Lewisberry Exit (35) of I-83 south, then PA 177 south; or by US 15 south to Dillsburg, then to PA 74 south. From York, take PA 74 north or I-83 north.
