Historic markers and interpretive displays provide information on Farewell Bend's significance on the Oregon Trail. The campground is open from about April 15 - Oct. 31, weather permitting. Camping may open earlier or stay open longer depending on winter weather. Check park advisories on stateparks.oregon.gov for updates, or call the park. Camping is first-come, first-served during the months of April and October. Key InfoA loop standard sites are reservable starting May 1st annually. Tent sites within the park will remain first come first served. Only one vehicle is included with standard camp fees. A second vehicle kept at a campsite (or alternate parking area) is subject to a nightly Extra Vehicle fee of $7. Water levels fluctuate on the reservoir. Current water levels are posted on idahopower.com. Mosquito populations can be high during the summer. Campfire restrictions may be in place during the summer; check ahead. Fireworks are prohibited. If you reserve a cabin, please look for your access combination in the confirmation letter, immediately following the DIRECTIONS to the park. The park is on the end of the reservoir, about 50 miles upstream of Brownlee Dam. Interstate 84, take exit 353 onto Highway 30, to park entrance, 1 mile. Directions are the same eastbound and westbound.Booking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation DescThere is an $8 reservation fee per site reserved. An $8 transaction fee is charged for any date or site changes made to an existing reservation. *Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the end of the stay will only pay an $8 transaction fee. Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the beginning of the stay will pay an $8 transaction fee and the nightly rate for each night cancelled. Date changes or cancellations to reservations cannot be made until 5 months (150 days) in advance of arrival date.
