Brochure InfoFall Creek Reservoir is a prime recreation area surrounded by day-use parks and a campground. Cascara campground, on the upper end of the Fall Creek Arm of the lake, is tucked away amid towering Douglas fir trees. This rustic campground offers 39 campsites, vault toilets, potable water, a launch ramp and swim area. The first come, first served campsites are private, with many having views of the lake. Looking for a place to camp with your group? A lake front reservable RV group camp, Fisherman's Point, is just across the road from Cascara campground. Fisherman's Point has 8 primitive sites with a central water faucet, trash facilities, and portable restrooms. The camp has picnic tables, fire rings, boat tie ups, and will accommodate a maximum of 64 people and 16 vehicles. And if you want to get out on the reservoir for the day, check out one of the five day-use areas. Winberry, with its two-lane boat ramp and parking for more than 100 cars and 150 boat trailers, is the largest. It features flush restrooms, a swim dock and swim beach, and picnic areas with barbeques and fire rings. There is a day use fee at Winberry, though your registration receipt at Cascara and Fisherman's Point covers this day use fee.Brochure Info - Facilities and RestrictionsFisherman's Point is the reservable group camp at Fall Creek State Recreation Area. The individual campsites at Fall Creek are located across the street at Cascara Campground and are first come first serve.Key InfoCustomer Awareness Alert: * Blue-green algae blooms occur at Fall Creek Reservoir, most often between April and September, however can occur during any time of the year. * If an outbreak does occur, swallowing or inhaling water droplets should be avoided, as well as skin contact with water by humans or animals. * Fee waivers and/or adjustments will not be provided due to the presence of Blue-green algae. In the event of algae bloom, all cancel and change policies as defined by OPRD Administrative Rules will apply. Fires and disposal of charcoal are only allowed in designated areas. Pets must remain on leash no longer than 6' at all times. Please leave the site free of litter. Extra trash bags are available. Boat ramps are available at Cascara Campground (water level permitting), Winberry Day Use, and North Shore Day Use. Continue east on Hwy 58 for 13 miles. Turn left at Covered Bridge over Dexter Lake onto Pioneer Road/Jasper Lowell Road towards Lowell.After .5 miles, turn left onto North Shore Drive/Jasper Lowell Road. Take first right onto North Moss St/Jasper Lowell Road. Turn right onto Big Fall Creek Road at the 4 way stop at Unity Covered Bridge. Continue on Big Fall Creek Road for 7.5 miles. Fisherman's Point Group Camp is on the left just past the bridge over Fall Creek Lake. Cascara Campground (Park Host, launch ramp) is on Peninsula Road, .5 mile from Big Fall Creek Road at the bridge over Fall Creek Lake. An $8 transaction fee is charged for any date or site changes made to an existing reservation. *Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the end of the stay will only pay an $8 transaction fee. Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the beginning of the stay will pay an $8 transaction fee and the nightly rate for each night cancelled. Date changes or cancellations to reservations cannot be made until 5 months (150 days) in advance of arrival date.
