California sea lions infected with Leptospirosis are appearing on Oregon beaches. The contagious bacterial infection, and many others, are transmittable to humans and dogs. Please stay away from stranded marine mammals. For more information, go to Sea Lions with Leptospirosis. Campers must have horses with them to stay in the Horse Camp. Only one vehicle is included with standard camp fees. A second vehicle kept at a campsite (or alternate parking area) is subject to a nightly Extra Vehicle fee. Only one extra vehicle per site and must park on the pavement. The nightly Extra Vehicle fee is currently $7.00. Cape Blanco State Park does not have a recreational vehicle dump station. Due to the location of some campsites, surface water will remain in some campsites after heavy rain showers for several hours. Park and trails are open. The group camp is currently closed. Turn right at highway sign and proceed west 5 miles. It is 80 miles n. of California border (Brookings). And 5 miles north of Port Orford. Turn left at highway sign. Go west 5 miles to park entrance.Booking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation DescThere is an $8 reservation fee per site reserved. An $8 transaction fee is charged for any date or site changes made to an existing reservation. *Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the end of the stay will only pay an $8 transaction fee. Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the beginning of the stay will pay an $8 transaction fee and the nightly rate for each night cancelled. Date changes or cancellations to reservations cannot be made until 5 months (150 days) in advance of arrival date.
