The contagious bacterial infection, and many others, are transmittable to humans and dogs. Please stay away from stranded marine mammals. For more information, go to Sea Lions with Leptospirosis. If you reserve a yurt, please look for your access code in the confirmation letter, immediately following the DIRECTIONS to the park. Extra Vehicles: Each campsite fee includes parking for one vehicle. Campers may have a total of two vehicles per site; extra vehicle is $7 per night. Alternative parking available only for 2nd vehicles that do not fit on parking pad. Additional vehicles will not be allowed in the park overnight. For general information about extra vehicles, visit the Oregon State Parks website. ATV Users OHV dune access in the park available Oct. 1 - April 30 only. Only campers registered to H Loop or Yurt 316 may use park dune access. All other campers must access the dunes outside the park. Day staging is prohibited. All ATVs being operated must belong to a registered H Loop camper. ATVs may only be operated to drive from a registered campsite to the access gate and back. May 1st - Sept 30 ATVs may not be unloaded, operated, or staged inside the park. The Oregon dunes have the highest off-highway vehicle incident rates in the state. Before riding, please be aware of dune riding hazards and what you and others can do to stay safe. An $8 transaction fee is charged for any date or site changes made to an existing reservation. *Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the end of the stay will only pay an $8 transaction fee. Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the beginning of the stay will pay an $8 transaction fee and the nightly rate for each night cancelled. Date changes or cancellations to reservations cannot be made until 5 months (150 days) in advance of arrival date.
