Brochure InfoAll reservable campsites in loops A through G have power and city water at this park. There are several attractions near South Beach State Park. Plan to visit the historic Yaquina Bay Lighthouse situated 2 miles north in the Yaquina Bay State Park. Yaquina bay has the historical bay front area and the Oregon Coast Aquarium is located less than 2 miles north. There are activities such as agate collecting, windsurfing, fishing, crabbing, boating and just plain sightseeing. Contact South Beach State Park at 541-867-7451 for further information. MAKE SURE YOUR SITE MEETS YOUR CAMPING NEEDS Before reserving, please become familiar with the particulars of your chosen site, including the size of the tent pad area and the type of equipment that you may bring to the park. Site details and tent pad sizes can be viewed online by clicking on the site name. At checkout, please review your order before payment is made, especially the site type you have chosen. A Large campsite has at least a 12'x12' tent pad area. Medium sites are at least 10'x10' and Small sites are at least 8'x8'. There are no full hookups or pull through sites. There is a dump station located at the park. H and I loop sites do not have hookups, no generators allowed. No Wi-Fi access at site; Hospitality Center has limited Wi-Fi. Seasonal closures: A, B, C and D loops are reservable year round. E, F, G loops close November 1. H and I loops October 1. During seasonal closure, loops E and F can be utilized on a first come first served basis as demand requires. H and I loop opening for reservations May 27, 2022. All sites are reservable the last weekend in February for the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival, except H and I. Group camp 1 and 3 opening for reservations starting May 20, 2022. Key InfoCalifornia sea lions infected with Leptospirosis are appearing on Oregon beaches. The contagious bacterial infection, and many others, are transmittable to humans and dogs. Same day arrivals and first-come, first-served cannot be accommodated for yurt sites. Only one extra vehicle allowed in each campsite. Limit of three cars may register per site. A nightly extra vehicle fee is required. Any additional extra vehicles must park in a designated parking area away from campsites, and pay the extra vehicle fee. An $8 transaction fee is charged for any date or site changes made to an existing reservation. *Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the end of the stay will only pay an $8 transaction fee. Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the beginning of the stay will pay an $8 transaction fee and the nightly rate for each night cancelled. Date changes or cancellations to reservations cannot be made until 5 months (150 days) in advance of arrival date.
