Brochure InfoLake Francis is a 2,000-acre lake near the Connecticut Lakes of the Great North Woods region. Hunters and anglers enjoy this park as a base for their respective activities. A boat launch is located in the park. Canoeists enjoy exploring the upper part of the Connecticut River. This facility also list availabiltiy for the Magalloway Watchman Tower Cabin. For more information on the cabin please visit the site details page for the cabin.Key Info Important Information: 6 people maximum per site of which only 4 can be adults. The nightly base site fee pays for 2 adults only and up to 4 dependent children under 18. The third and fourth extra adult on a site pay $10.00 each, per night. Additional children on a campsite are charged $5.00 per night. If the additional occupant will not be staying for the entirety of your reservation, please do not indicate those occupants online. The extra charges will be calculated for the partial stay upon arrival at the campground. NH Senior Citizens are given a $5 per night discount and NH State Employees are given a 50% discount. The discount will be provided once verified at the campground. Youth group reservations please contact 603-271-3556. Additional Information: There is limited cell service at this park. Firewood can carry exotic insects and tree diseases. Safe firewood is available to purchase at the campground for your convenience. Lake Francis has 7 waterfront and 2 standard sites that have water & electric hook-ups (sites 13-21). Quiet hours are between the hours of 10pm and 7am. Generators may only be run from 9 am to 12 noon and 5 pm to 8 pm. ATV ACCESSIBLE SITES: Sites 1, 2, 3, 4 20, 21, 44, 45 and 46. Booking Rules: The maximum reservation window is 11 months in advance, and sites become available at 8am (9am on weekends) exactly 11 months from the anticipated arrival day. Cancellation Policy: If you are cancelling 7 days or less from your arrival date you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee in addition to the $6.50 non-refundable reservation transaction fee charged at booking. If you do not arrive at the facility for your stay, and do not call the park to cancel by noon on the day of your reservation, no refund will be issued. If there are any concerns about your reservation, please call the ReserveAmerica Call Center at 1-877-647-2757 Any refund requests occuring after the reservation arrival date must be submitted in writing or emailed to State Parks Headquarters within 14 days of departure. Follow Route 3 to Pittsburg. Follow signs to Lake Francis State Park. From I-95: Take Route 16 west to Route 26 west to Route 3 in Colebrook. On route 3 follow signs to Lake Francis State Park. For the Watchtower Cabin: Go 4.7 miles beyond the First Connecticut dam and take a right on Magalloway Road. Go 5.3 miles and take a right at the Tower sign. Follow the main road about 2.5 miles and park in the lot off to the side. The trail is clearly marked to the top.Booking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation DescFee Information Payment in full will be charged to your credit card upon completion of the reservation. A $6.50 non-refundable on-line reservation fee will be charged for each reservation. Payment Methods Accepted On-line: Cancellation Policy A non-refundable penalty fee of $15.00 will be charged for cancellations made less than 6 days prior to your scheduled arrival. There is no cancellation fee for cancellations made 6 days or more before your scheduled arrival.
