Brochure InfoHampton Beach State Park is open year round. However the RV campground is open only from early May to end of October Hampton Beach State Park provides recreation, with Atlantic ocean-front facilities situated along miles of sandy beach. The Seashell complex includes a band shell amphitheater, public information services, comfort station, and first aid. Activities in the park include swimming, fishing, picnicking, and RV camping with full hook-ups in the campground. Hampton Beach State Park RV Campground, with 28 sites and a park store, is the only RV park directly on the New Hampshire coast. The park is located at the mouth of the Hampton River and close to many area attractions including whale watching, saltwater fishing, charter boats, sandy beaches, and swimming. The park is located south of the main part of Hampton Beach on Route 1A at the Seabrook/Hampton town line. Campers must be able to hook up to water, sewer, and electricity, NO tents or pop ups.Key InfoImportant Note for Lottery Winners If you do not check in to your site by 12pm on the day after your reservation arrival date, your reservation will be cancelled and your site will be resold. Your reservation will be listed under "My Reservations & Account > Lottery Applications > Reservations" in your ReserveAmerica page. Booking Rules The maximum reservation window is 11 months in advance, and sites become available at 8am (9am on weekends) exactly 11 months from the anticipated arrival day. Pet Policy Pets are not permitted at this park from 5/1 to 9/30. Anyone entering with a pet during this time will be asked to leave. Visitors may camp with their pets from 10/1 through the end of the season. Campers should expect to hear noise from construction equipment accessing the park. Construction will take place from 7AM-8PM, 7 days a week. Thank you for your understanding. Campers must hook up to all 3 services (water, sewer and electric). Campers that cannot meet this requirement will be asked to leave. Tents and Pop-ups are NOT allowed. All campers MUST be self-contained with water, and electric hook ups. No restroom or shower facilities are available at the campground No cassette toilets allowed Fee Information The nightly site fee pays for 2 adults only, and up to 4 dependent children under 18. 6 people maximum per site, of which only 4 can be adults. The third and fourth extra adult on a site pay $10.00 each, per night, upon check-in. Additional children are charged $5.00 per night There is a maximum of two vehicles per campsite NH State Employees are given a 50% discount. The discount will be provided once verified at the campground. Visitation Information There is limited to no cell service at this park. Service may vary based on provider. Any cancellations or changes to a reservation need to be done through Reserve America and cancellation fees will apply. Cancellation Policy: If you are cancelling 7 days or less from your arrival date you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee in addition to the $6.50 non-refundable reservation transaction fee charged at booking. If you do not arrive at the facility for your stay, and do not call the park to cancel by noon on the day of your reservation, no refund will be issued. If there are any concerns about your reservation, please call the ReserveAmerica Call Center at 1-877-647-2757 Any refund requests occuring after the reservation arrival date must be submitted in writing or emailed to State Parks Headquarters within 14 days of departure. Please email requests to nhstateparkscamping@dncr.nh.gov or mail to: NH State Parks Reservation Office, 172 Pembroke Rd, Concord, NH 03301Important Information for Daily EntranceVisitors are encouraged to make a reservation before arriving at the park as parking is limited (especially on nice weekends and holidays). However, a number of walk-in spaces are available, and visitors who do not make a reservation will be admitted on a first come/first-serve basis. Reservations can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival and no later than 5pm on the day of your visit. Beach Info No pets are permitted in the beach area. Park is carry in carry out, you must take all your trash home with you. Music must be kept at low volume. The beach and picnic area are smoke free. Glass bottles are prohibited. No charcoal grills allowed. Parking Information The purchase of this reservation is ONLY for Hampton South Beach, where a $15 per vehicle fee is charge. The reservation is NOT valid in metered parking spots The $15 vehicle fee covers day use admission for the driver and occupants of the vehicle. Recreational Vehicles (RV) must purchase 2 reservations. If your RV has park plates, you must purchase one reservation at full price and one reservation with park plate discount as the park plate only covers parking fee for one parking space. Discount for New Hampshire Seniors:Indicate that you are a senior on your order details page and you will not be charged the day-use/parking fee. However, there is a $1 transaction fee for using the online reservation system. A $6.50 non-refundable on-line reservation fee will be charged for each reservation. Payment Methods Accepted On-line: Cancellation Policy A non-refundable penalty fee of $15.00 will be charged for cancellations made less than 6 days prior to your scheduled arrival. There is no cancellation fee for cancellations made 6 days or more before your scheduled arrival.
