Brochure Info Tucked away in this 400-acre park in the southwest corner of the Granite State are ponds, bogs, and a forest that extends to the shore of undeveloped Otter Lake. The park offers opportunities to swim, fish, walk, canoe, camp and picnic in a variety of settings. Walking paths lead to ponds and other points of interest in the park. A small park store offers refreshments and souvenirs for sale. Key InfoFee Information: The nightly base site fee pays for 2 adults only and up to 4 dependent children under 18. You must be 18 to register for a campsite. Extra adults are $10 per night. Additional children are $5 per night NH Senior Citizens are given a $5 per night discount to all campgrounds with the exception of Cannon Mountain RV, Ellacoya, and Hampton Beach. NH Seniors must bring their NH photo ID for verification. NH State Employees are given a 50% discount on campsites with the exception of yurts and cabins. NH State Employees must bring their State ID or current paystub for discount to be applied. Additional Information: There is limited to no cell service at this park. Service may vary based on provider. For emergency calls, use pay phone located at the park office/store. Please do not bring out-of-state firewood with you. Firewood can carry exotic insects and tree diseases. Safe firewood is available to purchase at the campground for your convenience. NO hook up sites available at this campground. There is a maximum of two vehicles per campsite, excluding group sites. Important Reminders Check-in time is between 1pm and 8pm and check out time is before 11am. Quiet hours are between the hours of 10pm and 7am. Generators may not be used during quiet hours. All visitors are required to register and pay the day-use fee at the campground office. Campers shall not have any day-use visitors at their campsite between the hours of 10pm and 7am. Booking Rules: The maximum reservation window is 11 months in advance and sites become available at 8am (9am on weekends) exactly 11 months from the anticipated arrival day. Cancellation Policy: If you are cancelling 7 days or less from your arrival date you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee in addition to the $6.50 non-refundable reservation transaction fee charged at booking. If you do not arrive at the facility for your stay, and do not call the park to cancel by noon on the day of your reservation, no refund will be issued. If there are any concerns about your reservation, please call the ReserveAmerica Call Center at 1-877-647-2757 Any refund requests occuring after the reservation arrival date must be submitted in writing or emailed to State Parks Headquarters within 14 days of departure. Park is carry in carry out, you must take all your trash home with you. Music must be kept at low volume. The beach and picnic area are smoke free. The beach does not have lifeguards. Any cancellations or changes to a reservation need to be done through Reserve America and cancellation fees will apply. Lifeguards Lifeguards may not be on duty. Swim at your own risk. Visitors are encouraged to make a reservation before arriving at the park as parking is limited (especially on nice weekends and holidays). However, a number of walk-in spaces are available, and visitors who do not make a reservation will be admitted on a first come/first-serve basis. Reservations can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival and no later than 5pm on the day of your visit. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations MUST be made prior to 9AM of the day of your visit. There will be no refunds due to weather, insects, or failure to attend the park without prior notice. Refunds requested for extenuating circumstances must be submitted to: nhstateparkscamping@dncr.nh.gov where they will be evaluated on a case by case basis. NH Senior Discount: Indicate that you are a NH senior on your order details page and you will not be charged the day-use/parking fee. However, there is a $1 transaction fee for using the online reservation system. A $6.50 non-refundable on-line reservation fee will be charged for each reservation. Payment Methods Accepted On-line: Cancellation Policy A non-refundable penalty fee of $15.00 will be charged for cancellations made less than 6 days prior to your scheduled arrival. There is no cancellation fee for cancellations made 6 days or more before your scheduled arrival.
