Brochure InfoAttractions One of eastern Nebraska's most popular recreation areas, Fremont has about 40 land acres and nearly 300 water acres in 20 sandpit lakes. Located three miles west of Fremont, this is a favorite area with campers, picnickers and water enthusiasts - from boating to fishing to water skiing. The swimming beach is unsupervised, and there is a PWC area, as well as a handicap accessible fishing pier. Campground Notes Fremont State Recreation Area's campgrounds offer hard surfaced pads, situated among mature shade trees. Modern shower/latrine buildings and drinking water are conveniently located. There are showers, trailer dump stations and water are available. Fishing, boating, swimming beach, picnicking and primitive camping is also available in the park.Brochure Info - Facilities and RestrictionsConcession The Tow Line Restaurant is a grill and convenience shop located on Victory Lake. The address is 3120 State Lake Road, Fremont; Phone #402-753-0957. The Tow Line serves breakfast, burgers, sandwiches and seafood. Walk-ins welcome, good for groups, kids, take out, delivery, catering, waiter service and outdoor seating. Call and ask about their beach volleyball summer leagues.Key InfoATTENTION - IMPORTANT INFORMATION, READ CAREFULLY Updated COVID 19 Policies: We ask that you protect yourselves and the staff by maintaining appropriate social distancing guidelines. The Game and Parks Commission reminds park guest to practice social distancing to ensure compliance with the state’s Directed Health Measures amid the COVID-19 heath situation. Necessary permits, such as fishing licenses and parks entry passes, should be purchased in advance online here: https://ngpc-home.ne.gov/ The health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. Based on health concerns regarding COVID-19, we are working to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus disease to our guests, employees, and the greater community by implementing the following policies. If boating, do not congregate at boat ramps, boat docks, and beach areas. Avoid high –touch areas. Clean public use surfaces, such as boat dock handrails and fish cleaning stations, picnic tables, with disinfecting wipe prior to use. Camping reservations may be made a minimum of three days in advance of arrival and a maximum of 180 days in advance of arrival. CHECK IN AND OUT SCHEDULE- If you check out early, the unused portion of your payment will be forfeited. Non Licensed motorized vehicles are not allowed. Only one camping unit is allowed per campsite. An extra tent may be used for dependent children only. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Generators may not be operated during these hours. Pets are allowed, but they must be kept on a leash that is no longer than 6 feet. Campers staying over must re-register by 2 p.m. Check in time is 4 p.m. and check out time is 2 p.m. Campers must vacate their campsite no later than 2:00 p.m. on the date the camping reservation or registration expires. All persons entering the campground must be registered. No cancellation of arrival date on year to date reservations. A Nebraska State Park Permit is required to enter this park area. A Nebraska Licensed Vehicle Park Entry Permit is $30 for an Annual Permit, $15 for a Duplicate Annual Permit (used for that second vehicle in your family) or a Daily Permit which is $6 per day you are staying. A Non-Nebraska Licensed Vehicle Park Entry Permit is $60, $30 for a Duplicate Annual Permit or a Daily Permit which is $12 per day. You may purchase your Park Permit prior to your stay by shopping online at OutdoorNebraska.org.All vehicles entering a Nebraska Park Area are required to have a valid park entry permit.Important Information for Daily EntranceDirectionAny guests coming from the North, East, or South go west of Fremont 2 miles on Hwy #30, and then head south at county road #19 into the park. Guests coming from the West at approx. two West of Fremont you will turn right or South on county road #19 into the parkBooking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation DescFee Information Payment in full will be charged to your credit card upon completion of the reservation. A $8.50 non-refundable on-line reservation fee will be charged for each reservation. Payment Methods Accepted On-line: Cancellation Policy Reservations may be cancelled online or submitted by email to the Nebraska reservation call center at ngpc.reservations@nebraska.gov or directly submitted to the park where the reservation(s) are held, by mail, e-mail, or fax. A non-refundable fee of $5.00 will be charged for any reservation cancellation.
