Brochure InfoConveniently located between Meridian and Jackson, Mississippi, Roosevelt State Park offers an abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities in a picturesque setting. The park scenic overlook provides a panoramic view of the Bienville National Forest. The gently sloping landscape is particularly striking during the fall, when the forest is bright with autumn color.Key InfoNo pets are allowed in cabins, motels or any other park building. Checkin & Checkout time for Cabins 3:00 PM CHECK IN 11:00 AM CHECK OUT Checkin & Checkout time for Campsites 4:00 PM CHECK IN 2:00 PM CHECK OUT If you are arriving after 5pm please contact the park to make sure proper arrangements can be made. If you arrive at the park after 5pm after hours contact numbers are posted at the gatehouse or at the main office of the park. No alcohol beverages Pleasure boating Memorial weekend until Labor day ONLY. Pets allowed only in designated areas. Pool/Water Slide: The swimming pool and water slide at Roosevelt State Park will open for the summer season each year on Memorial Day weekend and will close the day after Labor Day until the next year. In the event of cancellation, penalties may apply. Mississippi State Parks now utilizes a voucher system for any balance due to customers. You will not receive a refund. Go North approximately 1 mile; the park is on the left.
