Brochure InfoThis 5,000-acre forest includes 25 miles of trails for hiking, and horse-back riding. It's also home to a 227-acre Wompanoag reservation. The forest lies mostly in the center of the town of Freetown (about a third of the town) dividing Assonet, East Freetown, and Fall River's northern most boundary.Brochure Info - RecreationWE ARE NOT YET ACCEPTING 2021 RESERVATIONS FOR THE PAVILION.Brochure Info - Facilities and Restrictions36'x20' Covered Pavillion with approximately 6 picnic tables and room for up to 40 guests. NO WATER BALLOONS OR CONFETTI ALLOWED. Pavillion rental does not guarantee access to wading pool, as this is determined by capacity or operating conditions. Should you be interested in having a caterer, amplified music, a bounce house, fundraising event, etc. you will need to secure permission via a special event permit. There is a $45 non-refundable application fee, a Certificate of Liability Insurance will be required and you will be need to submit a Covid-19 Compliance Plan stating how you will meet the Governor’s guidelines.
