This wooded campground offers 108 campsites, including accessible campsites, some sites with 20 amp electric hookups, a compact loop with campsites suitable for two people, a group campsite and a communal hike/bike site. Campground amenities include comfort stations with flushing toilets, outdoor showers and a dishwashing station. One comfort station is accessible. Resurfaced roadways and a new camp office make this a charming facility. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring with a flip-grate for cooking. Pets are NOT permitted at this facility. There is no dumping station. NO WALK-IN CAMPING ALLOWED. The campsites at this facility are limited to one tent OR one camping unit limited to 15' box (pop-ups, teardrops, mini-trailers, truck campers) and one vehicle only. Do not bring additional equipment or vehicles. No RVs, trailers more than 15' or 5th wheels allowed. Pop-ups and mini trailers with box size of 15' or less, are permitted on pop-up sites. Pets are not permitted at this facility. Generators not permitted. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in all Massachusetts state parks and campgrounds. Campsite Fees at Wellfleet Hollow State Campground are $22 for MA resident / $70 non-resident, plus $6 for electric hookups, at certain sites. THERE IS A $4.50 NON-REFUNDABLE TRANSACTION CHARGE FOR EACH RESERVATION MADE. Firewood must be purchased at the camp office. Massachusetts prohibits the transportation of firewood into or out of any DCR campground. No other wood products may be brought into the campground. Transportation of firewood may result in eviction. PLEASE NOTE THAT FIREWOOD SALES ARE BY CREDIT CARD ONLY. EFFECTIVE 2021, THE COST IS $7 PER BUNDLE. Check-in time is 1:00 to 9:00 pm; check out by 11:00 am. Campers and/or camping equipment are limited to 14 cumulative days occupancy in any one park between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Violators of the 14-day limit may have their reservation cancelled and be asked to leave the park. Reservations must be in the name of the primary occupant, who is at least 18 years of age. A photo ID is required at check- in and must match the name on the reservation. Campsite occupancy is limited to four adults, or two adults and the children in their care. Campsites are limited to one tent or one pop-up and one vehicle per site. Reservations with departure dates outside the 4-month maximum window cannot be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. Cancellations and changes will incur a $10 fee. Day of arrival cancellations require a phone call to the campground and will result in the loss of one night's camping fee, plus the $10 cancellation fee. Reserved campsites will be held until 8:00 am on the day after your scheduled arrival date. If we are not contacted, your reservation will be no-showed resulting in no refund. Pets are not permitted at Wellfleet Hollow Campground. No generator use allowed.Important Information for Daily EntranceDirectionOnce on Cape Cod, continue on U.S. Route 6 East, toward Provincetown. The campground is about 45 miles from the Sagamore Bridge. Stay on Route 6, past the Orleans rotary. In approximately 10 miles take a right on Old County Road. Old County Road becomes Old Kings Highway. Wellfleet Hollow is about one mile on the right.Booking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation Desc Please read our Fees and Cancellation Policies Reservations must be in the name of the primary occupant. Reservations with departure dates outside the 4-month maximum window cannot be changed or canceled until 18 days after the reservation was made. If you choose to cancel or change your reservation, a $10 fee will be charged. The reservation transaction fee is non-refundable. Refunds of $5 or less cannot be processed. If you leave early, please checkout at the contact station. Cancellations made on the day of arrival must be made by calling the campground and will result in the loss of the first night's camping fee plus a $10 cancellation fee. If you are unable to arrive on your scheduled arrival date, you must call the campground and let them know. Failure to contact the park by 8 a.m. the morning following your scheduled arrival date may result in your campsite being reassigned to another camper and forfeiture of fees paid.
