Brochure InfoSouth Landing(Main Entrance) The South Landing includes 15 deluxe cabins, 3 standard cabins, a group camp, picnic areas, playground, a boat launch, a fishing pier and a dock with rental boats. All cabins feature air conditioning and heat, an outside table and a grill. The camping area includes 108 spurs with water and electricity. A scenic road links the South Landing with the North Landing. All visitors to the park must enter through the South Landing main entrance on La. 3042. All day-use and overnight fees are collected at the entrance station at the main entrance. North Landing The North Landing features 90 campsites with water and electricity, a boat launch, a dock, a 400 ft. fishing pier and a primitive group-camping area. All three lodges are located at the North and sleep up to 14 people. The North Landing is accessible only through the South Landing main entrance on La. 3042. The park road connecting the North Landing to La. 106 is an exit-only thoroughfare Rules Pets are not allowed in any buildings or porches, including cabins and lodges. Reservations made 10 months or more in advance must be paid in full within 30 days after the reservation is made or it will be cancelled. For all other reservations, please be prepared to pay the balance of your facility rental fee upon your arrival at the park. No out of state checks will be accepted as payment. Reservations for overnight facilities are held until check-out time the day after your scheduled arrival. Early departures will be treated as cancellations. Pavilions and meeting rooms are accessible during operating hours. Golden Age/Golden Access Passport holders must present a valid card at check-in. Persons who rent park facilities can be held responsible for any damage done to those facilities. All park buildings are smoke free environments including cabins and lodges. Cabins and Lodges are furnished with basic kitchen utensils, pots, and bed linens and pillows. Please bring your own soap products as well as extra towels, toilet tissue and trash bags. Group Camps are furnished with pots, basic kitchen utensils and bunk-beds. No linens are provided. A maximum stay of 14 consecutive days is allowed in the park. Additional late cancellation fee may apply to cancellation less than 15 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, depending on your reservation.
