Brochure Info Overnight visitors can stay at one of 14 vacation cabins that overlook a cypress swamp. Each air-conditioned, two-bedroom cabin sleeps eight persons and includes a fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Thirty campsites with water and electricity, fire ring and picnic table are available for recreational vehicle owners. An additional 20 tent campsites offer a tranquil setting for tent campers. A climate-controlled bathhouse and laundry facility are also available for camper use. A Group Camp accommodates up to 52 visitors in two spacious dormitory wings, each wing served by private bath facilities. The dormitories flank a dining hall and central kitchen, furnished with commercial cooking equipment. Rules Pets are not allowed in any buildings, including cabins and lodges. Please be prepared to pay the balance of your facility rental fee upon your arrival at the park. Reservations for overnight facilities are held until check-out time the day after your scheduled arrival. Early departures will be treated as cancellations. Pavilions and meeting rooms are accessible during operating hours. Golden Age/Golden Access Passport holders must present a valid card at check-in. Persons who rent park facilities can be held responsible for any damage done to those facilities. All park buildings are smoke free environments including cabins and lodges. Cabins and Lodges are furnished with basic kitchen utensils, pots, and bed linens and pillows. Please bring your own towels, soap products, etc. Group Camps are furnished with pots, basic kitchen utensils and bunk-beds. Please bring your own pillows, bed linens, towels, soap products, paper products (paper towels and toilet), etc. A maximum stay of 14 consecutive days is allowed in the park. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Travel West on Hwy 22 until you come to the town of Springfield. At the red light, continue straight across onto Hwy 1037. Travel 6 miles to Patterson Road. Turn left at Patterson, 1 mile until park entrance. From Baton Rouge on I-12, take the Springfield/Albany exit #32. Travel 2 miles South on Hwy 43, merge left with Hwy 42. Continue 1mile to the red light, turn West (right) on Hwy 1037. Travel 6 miles to Patterson Road. A $6.00 non-refundable on line reservation fee will be charged for each reservation.
