Brochure InfoFor the overnight visitor, Fairview-Riverside offers 81 camping sites, all with electricity and water hook-ups. A nearby comfort station and dump station are provided. The park also provides a tent camping area with comfort station access. This camping area is a favorite of groups who want to camp together under the stars. TOURS: Enjoy a comfortable party barge cruise on the beautiful Tchefuncte River! Explore the scenic river system, learn about the areas rich Native American and maritime history, catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife along the river, stop at popular waterfront restaurants or bring your own picnic. There will be opportunities to swim and relax. Each trip is catered to the party's needs. Sunset cruises on Lake Pontchartrain are a favorite! Reservations made 10 months or more in advance must be paid in full within 30 days after the reservation is made or it will be cancelled. For all other reservations, please be prepared to pay the balance of your facility rental fee upon your arrival at the park. No out of state checks will be accepted as payment. Reservations for overnight facilities are held until check-out time the day after your scheduled arrival. Early departures will be treated as cancellations. Pavilions and meeting rooms are accessible during operating hours. Golden Age/Golden Access Passport holders must present a valid card at check-in. Persons who rent park facilities can be held responsible for any damage done to those facilities. All park buildings are smoke free environments including cabins and lodges. Cabins and Lodges are furnished with basic kitchen utensils, pots, and bed linens and pillows. Please bring your own towels, soap products, etc. Group Camps are furnished with pots, basic kitchen utensils and bunk-beds. Please bring your own pillows, bed linens, towels, soap products, etc. A maximum stay of 14 consecutive days is allowed in the park. 2 night minimum on weekends. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. If you are reserving a cabin, lodge or group camp 10 months or more in advance of the arrival this reservation will adhere to the following: This reservation must be paid in full no later than 30 days after the reservation is made. All persons under 21 years of age must be accompanied by adults when using reserved facilities. Campers are welcome to decorate their camper and have a small activity/game for the kids to do and earn a piece of candy. The event is optional for the campers. If you would like to participate in the event while camping and have questions please contact the park at( 985)-845-3318 or check out the FB page for the park. We will also host a trick or treat event on Oct. 31st from 4 pm – 6 where the kids will walk through the campground trick or treating. This event is also optional. If you have questions about either of the events please contact the park directly.Important Information for Daily EntranceDirectionLocated 2 miles east of Madisonville in St. Tammany Parish on LA 22. From New Orleans: Cross Lake Pontchartrain on the causeway, take Hwy 22 west. The park is 4 miles west on 22 on the right. From Baton Rouge: Take I-12 east to exit 57, turn right after exit. This is 1077. Follow 1077 to Hwy 22, left on 22. Park is one mile over bridge on left. (Approx. 5 miles after exiting I-12.) From Slidell: Take I-12 west, exit #63A. Go south on 190 after exit, then take Hwy 22 west. Park is 4 miles on the right. (Approx. 7 miles from I-12 exit.)Booking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation DescFee Information First night deposit will be charged to your credit card upon completion of the reservation. A $6.00 non-refundable on line reservation fee will be charged for each reservation. Payment Methods Accepted On-Line: Cancellation Policy A non-refundable fee of $10.00 will be charged for any cancellation. Additional late cancellation fee may apply to cancellation less than 15 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, depending on your reservation. If you are reserving a cabin, lodge or group camp 10 months or more in advance of the arrival date, this reservation will adhere to the following: No change can be made to this reservation until the deposit is paid and 18 days from the date the reservation was made has elapsed. One night deposit is due 10 days after the reservation was made or it will be cancelled. 30 days after this reservation is made the balance must be paid in full or it will be cancelled without additional written notification.
