Brochure InfoBeneath the forested hills of this resort, nature has hidden more than 20 twisting caverns. Visit Cascade Cave, where you'll discover a 30-foot underground waterfall. A must-see while you're at Carter Caves is X Cave, where, for millions of years, nature has formed luminous stone fans, pipes and spirals. Above ground, enjoy a relaxing game of golf on our 9-hole golf course, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking on 20 miles of single and multi-use trails.Key InfoGolf carts are allowed in the campground by purchasing a permit at check-in. Permits are $25 for the week or $100 for the calendar year. Annual permits can be used at all Kentucky State Park campgrounds and the Kentucky Horse Park. Disabled guests are not required to purchase a permit if they display their disability hanging tag. In order to reserve Cabins and Cottages, please call park to make reservations. The Bunk Houses can be reserved through Reserve Ameerica Customer Service line.
