Brochure InfoLocated in the heart of Hutchinson, the Kansas State Fairgrounds is conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants, and, of course, all of the events that take place throughout the year on the State Fairgrounds. In addition to the Cabin, the Fairgrounds has 211 full-service RV camper sites. Whether you're passing through for a short time or looking for a place for your next RV rally, the Kansas State Fairgrounds has it all.Key InfoYou must be 18 or older to rent a cabin or campsite. Subject to regulations and posted notices, any individual over 21 may possess, consume, or drink alcoholic liquor. Kegs and party balls are strictly prohibited. Any motorized vehicles (gas or electric) operated within the State Fairgrounds must be registered (having a license plate). ATV use is prohibited on the State Fairgrounds unless prior written approval is received from the Kansas State Fairgrounds. Camping is allowed only in designated areas and is subject to restrictions as posted. Only one camper/RV per utility site is allowed. Pets must always be restrained by a camper, cage, hand-held leash, or tethered chain and adhere to the leash laws of the City of Hutchinson. Fireworks are prohibited. Litter must be put in trash containers, if provided. Where containers are not provided, park users must carry their trash out with them. Digging holes, removing or defacing geological formations or vegetation is prohibited. Cabin renters may check in after 3:00 p.m. and check out by noon. Smoking is not allowed in cabins. Pets and pet carriers are not allowed inside or on the porches of cabins. Cabin renters are not allowed to grill or cook from the porch deck. The cabin must be clean prior to departure. Cabin renters shall be responsible for full payment of any damages incurred during the length of stay. Damages will be billed to the renter for payment. Reservations require a $14.00 reservation fee. Cancellation 30 or more days prior to arrival date results in a 100 percent refund minus reservation fee. Cancellation 29 to 5 days prior to arrival results in a 100 percent refund minus one night rental fee and reservation fee. Cancellation 4 days or less prior to arrival date or after arrival date will result in all fees being forfeited. Campsites & Shelters: Campsites may be reserved anytime during the current calendar year up to two days in advance of a planned stay. Transaction fees are nonrefundable. Cancellation 15 days or more prior to arrival date results in a refund minus the transaction fee. Cancellation 14 to three days prior to arrival results in a refund minus one camping night and transaction fee. Cancellation less than three days prior to arrival results in a forfeiture of all fees. Cancellation within the minimum window of stay results in a forfeiture of all fees. If you notify the park office to shorten your stay within 14 to three days of arrival, this will result in a forfeiture of fees for one night camping. Payment: Payment in full is required at the time the reservation is made. Payments accepted online or by phone - Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Payments accepted at the park office - Visa, MasterCard, Discover, check, money order, or cash. There is a non-refundable $3.00 reservation fee per campsite, picnic shelter or facility. There is a non-refundable $14.00 reservation fee per cabin. Cancellations: All cancellation requests may be submitted online.
