Known as one of the best fly-fishing streams in the nation, the Henrys Fork meanders for eight miles through Harriman. Guests renting the facility can take part in all park programs including horseback riding, hiking, ranch tours, and fly-fishing on the famous Henry's Fork. Winter at Harriman offers 24 miles of Nordic ski trails. Opportunities to view moose, elk, trumpeter swans, and waterfowl are abundant. Harriman State Park is located only 38 miles from Yellowstone National Park and 14 miles from spectacular Mesa FallsKey InfoHarriman State Park Policies By booking my rental facility at Harriman State Park of Idaho, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the policies for using Harriman State Park of Idaho overnight facilities and agree to take responsibility (you are the Responsible Party) for the conduct of my group and agree to compensate the Department of Parks and Recreation for any damage, beyond normal wear and tear, incurred to park facilities by those of my group. A 7.00 Motor Vehicle Entrance Fee (MVEF) is required for every vehicle entering Idaho State Parks (including visitors to campers). If you need a MVEF parking pass, please stop by the visitor center to purchase one. MVEF may be paid for at the daily rate or by purchasing a State Park Passport or an Annual Motor Vehicle Entrance Fee sticker. During the winter there is a $5.00 per person Winter Access Fee payable upon arrival at the park. For more information on annual passes please contact the park at 208-558-7368. Renters are responsible for light cleaning of the building prior to departure; cleaning and damage fees may apply. Please see the Facility Manual located in your building to review cleaning procedures, rules and regulations, and helpful information about your facility, park amenities, and regional information. No smoking in any park facilities- please be considerate of others and smoke outside. Pets are not allowed on park trails, in any park buildings or yurts. They are allowed in the parking lots only and must be on a leash at all times. The only exception is during winter months, on the Harriman Hounds trail when the trail is groomed. This trail goes south into the National Forest, and can be accessed via the Visitor Center west side parking lot. Camping is not permitted at Harriman State Park; additional camping equipment, such as RVs tents, or awnings will not be permitted. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Fireworks are prohibited in all parks at all times. No Exceptions! Please look at the park maps to find the location of the facility and parking area. If you need assistance, please contact the park at 208-558-7368. Check-in Procedure: The building will be unlocked and the key will be located on the table. If the key is not present, or the building is found to be dirty, please immediately contact park staff. Check-out Procedure: Following your departure, the building is inspected for cleanliness and damage. Please leave keys in facility and doors unlocked. Cancellation Policy: If a cancellation occurs 21 or fewer calendar days prior to arrival, customer forfeits the first night or daily usage fee (base rate). If the cancellation occurs more than 21 calendar days prior to arrival, a cancellation charge of $50.00 will be assessed. At no time shall the customer be charged a cancellation fee that exceeds the base rate paid for the facility. Important Information for Daily EntranceDirectionLocated 18 miles north of Ashton, ID on Highway 20 between mile markers 379 & 380, or 40 miles south of West Yellowstone, MT on Highway 20. Turn off on the Green Canyon Rd. and travel 1/2 mile to the Park Entrance.Booking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation DescFee Information Payment in full will be charged to your credit card upon completion of the reservation. A $10.00 non-refundable on line reservation fee ($25.00 for group sites) will be charged for each reservation. Payment Methods Accepted: Cancellation Policy All cancellation requests must be submitted by mail, fax or e-mail to the park where the reservation is held. A non-refundable fee of $10.00 ($50 for group sites) will be charged for any cancellation made at least 24 hours (21 days for group sites) prior to your scheduled arrival date. Additional lat cancellation fee may apply if the reservation is cancelled after the deadline. Click HERE for more information on Idaho State Parks Fees. Modifications: Customers may extend original stays booked without incurring a modification fee. A modification fee of $10.00 will be charged for modifications resulting in a reduction of stay where notification is received prior to check-in time. A modification fee of $10.00 will be charged for any modification to a previously made reservation that involves a change to the reservation dates even where part of the new stay includes part of the original stay booked. Changes to reservations: Changes to reservation dates, where no dates of stay involved in the original reservation are the same as the dates of stay for the resulting reservation, will require a cancellation of the original reservation and the booking of a new reservation with applicable service fees. If circumstances prevent check-in on the scheduled arrival day, campers are requested to notify the park of a change in schedule. Depending on when notification is given, a first night’s use fee may be charged. Reservations made for stays greater than one night and booked right on the nine month window so as to have a departure date that exceeds the nine month window will be frozen for 18 days. During this freeze no changes may be made to the reservation, this includes the ability to cancel the reservation. Changes and cancellations may be made to the reservation after the 18 day freeze, all standard reservation policies, fees and rules will apply at time of change. Cancellations: Standard Cancellation In addition to the $10 non-refundable reservation fee, a service charge of $10.00 will be assessed for the cancellation of a reservation for each individual campsite or facility. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled arrival time may also require the forfeiture of the first night’s camping fee. Special Use Campsite and Facility Cancellations Cancellations that occur twenty-one (21) or fewer calendar days prior to arrival, will be assessed a cancellation fee equal to the first night or daily facility usage fees (base rate). Cancellations that occur more than twenty-one (21) calendar days prior to arrival will be assessed a cancellation charge of fifty dollars ($50.00). Reservation No-Shows: The site will be held until check-out time on the day following scheduled arrival. Reservation holders failing to cancel a reservation or failing to notify the park of a late arrival will be considered “no-shows.” The reservation will be cancelled at that time and all fees paid will be forfeited.
