Please contact the Park Office at 302-368-6989 prior to arrival for complete information. Check-in: 1:00 PM Check-out: 12:00 PM In case of a late arrival 24 hours or more please notify the park at 302-368-6989 or your reservation may be cancelled. Be respectful of those campers already set up. One vehicle per site. Additional vehicles/boat trailers etc. must park in the overflow parking area. Each campsite may have up to 8 people. There is an additional $2.00 per day charge for each person over the first four. Quite hours are: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Operation of generators are not permitted during quiet hours. 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM Visitors must pay the entrance fee per vehicle. Fee season is from March 1 - November 30th. Pets must be on a 6 ft. leash at all times. Owners must clean up after their pets. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended at anytime. Please do not tie or chain pets to any trees or posts. Trash must be removed from the campsite. A dumpster is provided at the campground entrance. Burning trash and excessive litter is prohibited. Dumping or disposal of dish/bath water, septic wastes, or other effluents on ground is prohibited. Chopping, cutting, or damaging trees and bushes in any way is prohibited. Downed wood/limbs may not be gathered. Please do not bring firewood from other states in Delaware. Fire wood can be purchased at the campground. Clotheslines, ropes, or cords are not to be tied to any trees or shrubs. Please do not ride bicycles at night unless they are equipped with a headlight and reflectors. The possession or display of any firearms, air guns, paintball guns, slingshots, martial art weapons, fireworks, or archery equipment is prohibited. Rowboats, canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats are available from May-September. Call for more information. During events, vehicular travel on the campground will be restricted/controlled during that time. There may be up to a 15-minute wait to enter or leave the park. Yurts Yurt furniture and/or equipment may not be removed from the campsite. Renters will be held liable for any damage to the Yurt tent, furniture, decking/equipment. No smoking inside the yurts. No pets inside the yurts. By definition, Delaware State Park Campgrounds are family campgrounds. Group camping is prohibited in family campgrounds. Individuals are limited to two sites at any time. America the Beautiful Access Pass discounts are available by calling the Call Center at 1-877-987-2757. Delaware now requires a fishing license to cover both salt water and fresh water fishing. This includes recreational clamming and crabbing. The license may be purchased at agents authorized by the Division of Fish & Wildlife. Turn left onto Rt. 71/301. Go northeast about 1 mile. Campground is on the left. From the South: Take 896/301 North. Go over Summit Bridge. At the bottom of Summit Bridge turn right onto Rt. 71/301. Go northeast about 1 mile. Campground is on the left.Booking Window Product InfoFee Cancellation DescCancellation Policy A cancellation fee of $10 applies if cancellation occurs prior to 31 days before arrival date. Balance of payments will be refunded. A cancellation fee of a one-day camping fee is charged if cancellation is within 30 days of arrival date; the balance of payment received will be refunded. A cabin reservation carries a $35 cancellation fee; the balance of payment received will be refunded. A reservation at the Cottages at Indian River Marina carries a cancellation fee of one-half of the total rental fee. Early departures forfeit all balances. No refunds will be given unless Delaware State Parks or the reservation call center is notified of the cancellation. The park reserves the right to hold a campsite, cabin or yurt for no more than 24 hours after a customer's expected arrival date; after that time, the reservation will be cancelled. The park must receive notice of the late arrival to hold the reservation after the designated arrival time. Changes or cancellations made to the reservation 31 days or more before the arrival date will result in a $10.00 cancellation fee. A one night camping fee will be charged for any changes or cancellations made 30 days or less before the arrival date. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the date of arrival or after the point of check-in.
