Douglas Lodge

About

Douglas Lodge Cabins offer historic lodging accommodations at Itasca State Park, Minnesota's oldest state park established in 1891. The collection of one-, two-, and three-bedroom log and stick-built cabins were primarily constructed in the 1930s and nestle among towering pines along the east arm of Lake Itasca near the historic Douglas Lodge, built in 1905. Each cabin features a full bathroom with shower or tub, stone fireplace for ambiance, screened porch, and heating. Cabins include lake views, two parking stalls, and outdoor amenities with picnic tables and fire rings with cooking grates. Linens and towels are provided. Note that cabins have no indoor cooking facilities, refrigerators, or air conditioning. The Douglas Lodge Restaurant is nearby for dining. Reservations are required and can be made up to 120 days in advance through the Minnesota DNR reservation system. A non-refundable reservation fee applies.
