About
Day Run Campground is a small, developed Forest Service campground tucked along the upper Williams River in the Monongahela National Forest. Just off the Highland Scenic Highway, its 12 sites offer a quiet retreat for anglers, hikers, and hunters. Many sites sit directly along the river, and the campground is within walking distance of popular trails including the Tea Creek trail system and the Cranberry Wilderness. Each site is equipped with a wooden picnic table, lantern post, and fire ring, with several sites also featuring tent pads. Two vault toilets and trash service are provided, but there is no potable water on site. Small to midsize camping trailers will fit most sites, though there are no hookups available. Fees are $8 per night, payable at the self-service station. The campground sees steady use during spring fishing and turkey season, as well as fall hunting season. Dogs are permitted on leash. Maximum stay is 14 days.
