Fall Mountain Lookout Tower is located 20 miles from John Day in central Oregon, providing 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape and wildlife. Guests can access the one-room cabin atop an 18-foot tower which has a few amenities, but they must bring their own supplies and water. The lookout offers opportunities for sightseeing, hiking, star-gazing, hunting and huckleberry picking.
