Windust Park is located near Lake Sacajawea in Eastern Washington, providing visitors a remote destination for boating, camping, fishing, and hiking. The campground features 24 primitive campsites with mature trees for shade, a boat ramp for boaters, and excellent salmon and steelhead fishing opportunities.


Windust Park is located on Lake Sacajawea in Eastern Washington. The lake is formed by Ice Harbor Dam on the Lower Snake River.

The remoteness of this park is popular with regional visitors looking for a quiet area to get away from it all. The park provides recreational opportunities for boaters, campers, hikers and anglers alike.

Natural Features:

The campground is situated on the waterfront. Visitors enjoy relaxing in the shade under the mature trees scattered throughout the park.


The lake offers great boating and swimming opportunities, and a boat ramp is provided for guests.

Fishing is also a popular pastime, and anglers will find excellent salmon and steelhead fishing on the lake.
