Hardin Ridge is a 1,200-acre recreational complex located on the shores of Monroe Reservoir in Hooiser National Forest. Visitors can enjoy activities such as camping, picnicking, swimming, nature walks, and interpretive programs, as well as fishing and boating. There are 197 campsites and two cabins available for rent, plus two picnic areas with shelters. The area is also known for its colorful marinas, vast expanse of forest and fall foliage.
