About

Gums Crossing Campground is a small, remote campground operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the northeast side of Grenada Lake, just east of Coffeeville, Mississippi. This peaceful campground is particularly popular with anglers seeking access to Grenada Lake's excellent fishing opportunities. The campground features 6 Class A campsites, each equipped with electric and water hookups to accommodate RVs and trailers. Additional amenities include hot showers and a boat ramp providing direct access to the lake, making it an ideal base for fishing and boating enthusiasts. The campground's remote location offers a quiet, secluded camping experience away from more developed areas. Note that the Gums Crossing bridge is closed, requiring campers to use an alternate route to access the campground. The campground cannot be accessed from Highway 330. Pets are allowed on leash, and quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Campers should purchase firewood locally to help protect forests from invasive pests.
